Hi, I’m Ashley

I am a wife to a wonderful husband, mom to three spunky kiddos, and a lover of all things sweet.

My love for baking comes from spending my days in the kitchen with my mom as a child. I can remember always having some sort of dessert in our house (dinner is not complete until you have a cookie)! Christmas is the time where my mom and I spend hours together baking our special recipes, talking, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. This tradition has continued as I’ve gotten older and now my kids are able to join in too.

Baking is home to me. The inspiration behind Red Door Confections is just that; home. Something happens to me when I get in the kitchen. It takes me back to those days as a kid with my mom. The world fades away and all that’s left is sheer happiness.

A red door is a sign of welcome and home. I hope that my confections can bring that same feeling to you!
